When and Where Am I Allowed To Discharge Fireworks?

You are allowed to discharge fireworks during the following dates:

No person shall discharge any fireworks other than between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. from June 15 through July 3, inclusive, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 midnight on July 4, and between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. on July 5.

 

 

  • The discharge of fireworks is permitted only on private property of private residences or businesses with the consent of the owner, occupant or tenant unless a special event permit has been issued and specifically provides otherwise.
  • Under no circumstance shall there be a discharge of any fireworks within 30 feet of boundaries of Northeast 23rd Street.
  • No discharge is permitted on any other date, any other time or place, unless a special event permit designating the specific time, date, and place has been approved by the city council.
